PESHAWAR: Police in Peshawar foiled a terror plan on Thursday when they diffused a 5kg bomb near the Sulemankhel Chawki in Peshawar's Budh bher area, DawnNews reported.
According to the police, the miscreants had placed the bomb in a garbage dump near the Chowki.
The bomb disposal squad was immediately dispatched after receiving a tipoff, and diffused the bomb.
The area was then cordoned off by the police, who then carried a thorough search of the area.
