ISLAMABAD: An Accountability court in Islamabad extended on Monday the judicial remand granted to the former chief of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra), Tauqir Sadiq, for two weeks, DawnNews reported.
Accountability court’s Judge Bashir Ahmed resumed the hearing over the Ogra case during which the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) sought more time from the bench to submit a challan against Sadiq.
NAB had made the request owing to the absence of its chairman.
The court granted a two-week extension to the judicial remand of the former Ogra chief and adjourned the hearing over the case until Dec 16.
