Balochistan Bar Association and the High Court Bar Association also boycotted court proceedings across the province in protest against the coldblooded murder of Advocate Sakhi Sultan.
The lawyers held a protest rally from the Balochistan High Court and staged a sit-in outside the Balochistan Assembly.
"The government failed to protect the lives of citizens," Bilal Anwar Kasi, the president of BBA, told the emotionally-charged lawyers.
The lawyers chanted slogans against police and other law enforcement agencies for their failure to maintain law and order situation in the province.
Senior lawyers, including Ali Ahmed Kurd, Hadi Shakeel Advocate, Baz Muhammad Kakar and others, participated in the protest rally.
The lawyers' protest prompted Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Malik Baloch to come out of the assembly session.
The chief minister joined the protesting lawyers and assured them that the perpetrators of Sultan would be brought to book.
"My government will not spare any murderer," Dr Malik told the protesting lawyers. He said a special team comprising senior police officers would be set up to arrest the killers of the deceased lawyer.
"Restoration of peace is a top priority of the present government," he said, adding that such incidents really undermined the efforts of his government to restore law and order in the province.
The killing of Advocate Sakhi Sultan has come at a time when the Nationalist-party-led government is making positive efforts towards restoration of durable peace in the volatile province.
The defunct Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) had claimed responsibility for Sultan's killing.
Tribal clash kills four people in Balochistan's Chaghi
At least four persons were killed and another five were injured in a tribal clash in Balochistan's Chaghi district on Tuesday, an official said.
Saeed Ahmed, a levies official, told Dawn.com that dozens of armed tribesmen attacked another tribe over a land dispute in Padak area of Dalbandin.
He said an exchange of fire between the two tribes left four persons dead and five injured. "All victims suffered bullet wounds," Ahmed said.
The injured persons were hospitalised whereas a huge contingent of Levies and police personnel reached the site of incident to restore order.
Ahmed said the two tribes had an old enmity over land. He said so far no arrest was made in connection with the murder of the four tribesmen.
He, however, said that raids were being conducted in the surrounding villages near Dalbandin to arrest the armed men involved in the murder of four tribesmen.
Balochistan has a strong tribal society and tribal disputes over the years have claimed hundreds of precious human lives so far.
