KARACHI: At least one person was killed and 51 others were injured in the early hours of Wednesday morning when a passenger bus overturned in Karachi’s Karsaz area, DawnNews reported.
The inter-city bus was travelling from Karachi's Lee Market area to Badin district of Sindh when the driver lost control of the vehicle while taking a turn on Sharea Faisal, one of the main artery of Karachi's road network.
Police personnel and rescue teams immediately reached the site of the incident and shifted the injured to Jinnah hospital.
According to hospital sources, the injured include 13 women and six children whereas two of the injured are in critical condition.
