KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah visited spiritual leader of the Dawoodi Bohra community Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin on Wednesday night at his residence in Karachi, said a statement issued on Thursday.
“During the meeting the chief minister lauded the role of the Bohra community in the development of the country, especially Sindh,” said the statement issued by the CM House.
“The chief minister also briefed Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin on the historical, cultural and economic background of Sindh, especially Khairpur district, which is rich with cultural heritage and old civilisation.”
Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin took an interest in the cultural and historical heritage of Sindh and lauded efforts of the Sindh government to serve the people, added the statement.
