KARACHI: Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik has said those who are trying to derail democracy are enemies of the nation as the country can no more afford any dictatorship.
Dr Malik said the country was passing through a critical phase and it called for coordinated efforts to strengthen democracy.
He was talking to a group of journalists after the 15th graduation ceremony of government officials at the National Institute of Management here on Friday.
In reply to a question, he said that the impact of operation Zarb-i-Azb was bound to be felt in Karachi and Quetta and if anyone thought the operation would remain restricted to North Waziristan, it could be his desire but not the reality.
