KARACHI: In the wake of the attack on the Quaid-i-Azam’s Ziarat residency, provincial authorities in Sindh on Sunday enhanced security at the Quaid’s two residences in the metropolis.
Police and Rangers were deployed at the Quaid-i-Azam House Museum located on Fatima Jinnah Road near the Metropole Hotel, said DIG-South Dr Amir Sheikh.
He said that law-enforcement agencies would remain alert in front of the museum while armed forces personnel would provide security at behind the Quaid’s home, added the senior police officer.
Similarly, he said that enhanced security had been placed at the Quaid’s birth place in Kharadar.
The DIG said the security steps had been taken as precautionary measures in the wake of the attack on the Ziarat residency of the Quaid.
