KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain said Saturday the government and armed forces should take strict action against terrorists in the interest of the nation, DawnNews reported.
In a telephonic address to party workers from London, the MQM leader urged the government and army to take a firm stand over the menace of terrorism, adding that the entire nation would support them.
Hussain alleged that there were certain political parties that continuously sided with militant groups and demanded appropriate action against them.
He warned that any further delay in dealing with terrorism would cause irrevocable damage to the country.
